What are the check-in and check-out times at Saar-Apartments?

Regular check-in is from 4:00 PM, and check-out is until 10:00 AM.

Need more flexibility? Upon request and subject to availability, we are happy to offer early check-in (from 8:00 AM or 12:00 PM) as well as late check-out (until 2:00 PM or 6:00 PM) for a small surcharge.

Since access is digital, we will automatically send you an access code by email prior to your arrival. This allows you to arrive and depart flexibly at any time.

Where can I park?

Saar-Apartments does not have its own parking spaces yet. However, you can park free of charge on the publicly available parking spaces directly in Annastraße.

Are dogs allowed at Saar-Apartments?

Do you offer dog sitting for a visit to the Merzig Wolf Park?

Since dogs are not allowed in the Werner Freund Wolf Park, we offer our guests exclusive dog sitting upon request for the duration of your visit. This allows you to visit the park relaxed while your pet is well looked after. As we have two dogs ourselves, the dogs should get to know each other during a short walk together beforehand.

Can I safely store and charge my bicycles at Saar-Apartments?

Yes, your bikes are safe and dry in the free bicycle cellar of Saar-Apartments. You have 24/7 access at any time and will also find charging facilities for your e-bikes there. For added security, the area is video-monitored – please lock your bicycles there nonetheless.

Can I rent bicycles on site?

In our fully equipped holiday apartments, you will quickly and easily find a temporary home. We offer maximum flexibility with fair cancellation conditions in case your plans change again. To allow you to reorganize with peace of mind, regular cleaning of the apartment is already included in the service.

Does Merzig have an airport?

How do I get from Merzig to Trier, Rhineland-Palatinate?

Travel time by car to Trier is about 40 to 45 minutes, and about 40 minutes by train. The direct train to Koblenz via Trier runs along the Saar and Moselle rivers. How do I get from Merzig to Luxembourg?

Travel by bus is recommended. Bus lines 404, 405, or 407 offer reliable transport connections. The parking situation in Luxembourg and the free public transport within Luxembourg itself make the bus connection particularly attractive. Furthermore, the half-hourly connection from Merzig to Luxembourg from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM offers high flexibility. For an even more flexible connection, you can drive to Nennig Zoll and take the bus to Luxembourg from there. There is a large car park at Nennig Zoll, and line 401 runs in addition to lines 404, 405, and 407. Paid motorhome sites are located on the outskirts of Merzig. The pitches near the swimming pool are level but offer no shade. If you want to sleep in a cozy bed again after a long time and wash all your laundry, Saar-Apartments in Merzig is the better choice. Although there are no pitch sites as such, three holiday apartments equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and comfortable box-spring bed are available. They are ideal for a short three-day stay to recover for your onward journey.
